DescriptionThis model represents the house of a wealthy landlord and his extended family: parents, several wives, children, sometimes also brothers and other relatives. The ancestors are represented by an ancestral tablet in the main hall. It is the kind of house where many of the objects in the surrounding cases could have been found: beautiful furniture, porcelain tableware, lacquers, even an art collection with paintings and calligraphies. Numerous servants would work in the kitchen, granary, and stable.
