Object History: Excavation at Dhiban in Jordan were conducted by the American School of Oriental Research, supported by the Royal Ontario Museum, from 1950 to 1953. Excavations were directed by F.V. Winnett in 1950-51, W.L. Reed in 1952 and then Douglas Tushingham in 1952-53.
