DescriptionEarly tiraz textile with a band of tangent pearl-rings above a simple kufic inscription, coarsely woven into the linen ground of this fringed garment, possibly a turban. Inscription: In the name of God, Blessings [from God, from that which was made] in the private factory [at Miṣr].
