DescriptionThe chimpanzee belongs to the same family as humans, gorillas, and orangutans. The DNA of these four species of Hominids is very similar, yet they differ substantially in morphology (the form and structure of the animal). Long-term behavioural studies, like those of Jane Goodall, have shown that there are many similarities at the social level. One such shared behaviour, that shocked many people, is that of murder.
