DescriptionSmall bag. Cotton weft and wool warp in red warp-faced ground with two width vertical bands of supplementary warp patterning in red, light yellow and black running hooked lozenge design and two small stripes of yellow and red design, the large stripes on the reverse composed of diagonal geometric interlocking bird and or fish motifs. terminal weaving area at bottom of bag (fold) and ribete on one side with heading cords at top. Other side appears to have been re-joined along area of wear which may have been another small stripe.
