Object History: Purchased from G.F. Lawrence, 7 West Hill, Wandsworth, London S.W. 18. (March 24, 1927); formerly from the Northesk Collection. Records from Lawrence give an origin of "N., Aargau", Aargau being the Canton in Switzerland, which may be correct or could this conceivably be from the well-known Neolithic site at Niederwyl which is in the Swiss Canton of Thurgau?
