DescriptionAfter finding Enlightenment, the Buddha started to preach. He taught the path to Nirvana, or Extinction, which means liberation from the endless cycle of rebirth with its misery of illness, old age, and death. At age eighty, the Buddha's body died and he entered Nirvana. This little sculpture shows the Buddha on his deathbed.
