DescriptionSmall, thin smoking pipe with narrow mouthpiece flaring progressively to the opposite end, where the tobacco would be inserted. The pipe is constructed by layering strips of zinc, ebony and brass, which form a striped decorative surface. The mouthpiece is primarily zinc, while the bowl end is made from a large section of brass. This pipe was acquired together with 2012.62.28.2, a leather container designed specifically to hold it.
