DescriptionThis is a souvenir plate by Blue Mountain Pottery, with the name Amherst, Nova Scotia inscribed on it. The underside of the plate features the "three trees" makers mark. The company, formed by Jozo Weider, along with fellow immigrants from then-Czechoslovakia Denis Tupy and Mirek Hambalek, would produce many iconic souvenir items for Canadian towns, events, and people, under the auspices of Blue Mountain Pottery. This piece is part of a set that was donated to the ROM by the Blue Mountain Collectors Club.
