DescriptionInocybe immigrans has been encountered several times on mine wastes in north-eastern and east-central Ontario and was described as a new species by David Malloch. The species is thought to be ectomycorrhizal and has been collected in association with Betula papyrifera, Populus balsamifera, and Salix spp.
