DescriptionThe genus Amanita contains some of the most beautiful but also the most toxic mushrooms in the world. This genus is responsible for the main majority of mushroom poisoning deaths worldwide. Although the genus also contain many edible species, mycologists discourage mushroom hunters to pick and eat them unless they are experts in the group.
