DescriptionArnium villosum is a species of fungi that grow on animal dung. Fungi developing on animal dung are also known as coprophilous fungi. They are an important component of the ecosystem because of their role in nutrients recycling.
Several historical labels and annotations show the thought process in designating this specimens as the type of a new species. Originally labelled as Podospora villosa sp.nov.
